LD Touch Up Paint
I sent an email to Todd Miller asking for helping with touch up paint.  I thought I'd share his reply, which I received within 24 hours.

Thank you very much for the kind words. I appreciate it and have enjoyed my 27 years with the many awesome Lazy Daze customers.

Yes I am happy to help when I can. Unfortunately I cannot ship paint but an automotive paint store should be able to get or match the paint for you. The codes are good from a company called Armacoat (where we bought paint from) if your source needs to contact them for the formula as it is not in the Axalta/DuPont national data base.

Hope this helps and please let me know if you need any additional help.

Here is the link to Armacoat website:  Armacoat   I've contacted this company for help to buy Dark Blue Dupont Paint #892448EX and Light Blue Dupont #892447EX.  I'll update this post with the results.

For those who may not know, the paint codes should be listed on your driver’s door jamb.  Ed and I have the same codes.

So here is the rest of this story.  The paint sold to Lazy Daze for my 2009 LD is from NCS Inc. at 866-529-1682.  This company does not sell retail but only through their suppliers.  HOWEVER, the company will provide you a supplier in or near your location.  The supplier in my area is located at 2454 Jacksboro Highway, Fort Worth, TX at 817-769-3051.  The owner is Bob Fouty and his business can only mail or ship paint to a commercial business, but he can sell directly to customers at his store.  The price of touch up paint is $5.00 an ounce.

He does sell the activator necessary to harden this paint, but it only comes in a quart container that cost somewhere around $125 (I forgot the exact price).  Mr. Fouty said he'd give me a few ounces in at no cost.

That's about it.  I hope I haven't left anything out or misspelled too many words!

neat! thanks for the shared details!

I once called the mother ship to know about the paint for my '94 LD with green stripes, and while they didn't have the point they told me the codes, so sharing it with everyone here:

white:  colonial white imron elite b8687a used to be Dupont
light green 892445ex
dark green 892446ex

not sure if this company on this thread can get it, but may try eventually

For what it's worth, I found this old LD paint code chart in my files. The creation date appears to be 2002.

Wow! Again you guys have been super helpful! I’ll try to search down the different clues. I’m thinking that I may be required to buy more than I need or want from these suppliers ( which I may do) so, can someone tell me how to contact Todd to ask if he has some of those little “jars” left in stock? Or, if I have to buy big quantities of paint and hardener, does anyone else need some dark green or light green or white paint and hardener?

Keep in mind that the factory's (or Todd's) touchup paint matches what was on your Lazy Daze when it was brand new. If your rig is more than a few years old, chances are the match won't be so good. You may be better off, as others have suggested, taking a compartment door or other removable painted piece to a local store and asking them to match it using their color-scanning equipment.
