Solved: one bad bulb does weird symptoms…
We are working on our towing wiring.
While making a chart of the voltages on various wires (LD side) and also noting the light patterns, we lost all our brake lights (must have been lucky brake press 25,000 that did it😆).

We checked out wiring under the coach, checked fuses, contemplated checking the brake pedal switch (actually discussed in old posts in this forum though we learned of elsewhere)…
The we said what the heck let’s check for bad bulbs.
Sure enough we found one (most had been replaced about 5 years ago when we first got the LD).
We put in a replacement, and the results were magical:
All the brake lights were on again.
One light that was consistently dimmer than the other lights was now just as bright as the others.
A couple lights they were dimmer only in specific situations (eg tail lights on turn signal in) were now nice and bright.
So that one bulb affected all the lights in the back,

You never know….

Currently have a 1989 TK  LD we did a lot of upgrades on.

Our smartphone autocorrects into very poor English.
We disclaim the illusion of ignorance this creates as we have enough ignorance we rightly claim.

That one bad bulb story sounds like the old fashioned Christmas tree bulbs; one bad bulb caused the whole string of bulbs to go dark. Those were the days!
