Solar charger fuse ? On/off switch?

2002 RB '''Does anyone know if there is an on/off or fuse for the old HELIOTROPE RV-30 charge controller. 'Long story short", the controller was showing 16 volts..bouncing to 17 (Battery Volts) in the sun. I don't keep the LDaze parked in the sun..just happened to be there briefly...so I moved it out of the sun immediately. Disconnected controller and in the process created some sparks. Now the new controller will show nothing and the battery+/- show nothing with a multimeter on it. The multi shows about 20 to 21 volts when connected to PV -/+. Not having bought this LD new (no owners manual) is there a fuse I have blown? Help appreciated.

Assuming it is stock, look in the Power Center, where the 12-volt fuses are located. There should be an added, inline fuse, usually with a tape label with"Solar" on it.

My Heliotrope HPV-30 solar controller (the big shoebox with separate wired monitor panel, not the more common small all-in-one unit) failed the same way--putting out 16-17 volts instead of the 14.3 volts my Lifeline AGM batteries wanted to see. Unfortunately, I didn't catch on until it had ruined an expensive set of batteries.

And where is "the power center"...where the circuit breakers are under oven?

Are you referring to fuses way up in cab by driver?

The power center with the brown fold down cover, has 110VAC circuit breakers on the left hand half and 12 DC. fuses on the right hand side. In the RB floorplan near the oven I think. Others have posted pictures and the added loose solar fuse is adjacent to the hard in place fuses. Battery Disconnect Switch and Solar panel fuse
Your older 2002, if it hasn't been upgraded, will look a little different than this picture. You have a Parallax converter. This picture is of a newer version with the two green 30A fuses. RonB

I like to see a cut off switch for the solar clearly marked so everyone knows the solar is off.

I replaced the inline fuse during a solar upgrade. The 30-amp Buss circuit breaker is also used as a switch when working on the electric system.
