What have you purchased for your LD that you don’t use or you regret?
What have you purchased for your LD that you don’t use or you regret?

I asked this same question on an LD FB page but thought to ask it here because there’s many more years of experience here.

I purchased a propane fire pit but it won’t fit in any of my storage bays. So I have to put it inside and walk around it and it’s always in the way.  Instead we leave it at home most of the time.  I still like it and I miss it when camping.
How about you?

My RV Superbag.

Found it’s too warm, at least for when I was on the road this year.   Haven’t given up yet, as I’ll be on the road earlier next year.

I also carry a portable firepit and portable propane tank for it, but it lives in my tow vehicle's trunk, where it has ridden for nine years.  I love it and use it often.

However I still have Blown glass margarita glasses that I need to take home, have never used them at all. They even match my dinette upholstery! (Maybe I need to drink more, or just have more company?)

It takes me weeks and months to buy a new RV something or another.   In a few cases, even years.   And in a few more instances, it’s been years and I’m still fussing about the decision.  So seldom have I bought something that I regret or don’t use.

In addition, I have a special ability to forget past mistakes or poor decisions.   So I can share that … I don’t regret buying some RV thing and if I did, I don’t remember it.  😂

This may be a little off this topic, but I regret not ordering a new 2019 Lazy Daze when given the opportunity. The construction plans for the RV garage were finished, but the construction had not started. The goal was to already have the RV garage before making the purchase. Then the COVID pandemic happened, and the world basically "shut down." The lesson learned was that sometimes waiting too long can cause you to miss the opportunity.

I have a garage full of stuff that I couldn't live without.   I won't bore ya with the details just the lesson I seem to have learned.

Don't try to live someone else's dream.    Try to do your best to be completely honest about the type and why you are RV'ing.  Trust me it's cheaper........

Things purchased, not used: 10 ton bottle jack for changing tire.
Regret purchase? not a bit. Regret not using (yet)? not a bit.
