Cabinet latches - push button in side of door to unlatch
We have at least one (likely a couple) of cabinet door latches we want to replace.
We thought it was cute one of our cats liked to go into the cabinet under the stove (which we never use) and I thought it had a shelf half way up and back about 4" (we stored paper towels in it sometimes so we didn't pay much attention to it).  This weekend I looked closer for some reason and found the back 2/3 is where the 30 amp cord is stored (that pulls out from the rig) and I of course became very concerned my cat is sleeping with a 30 amp cord.

So we need to replace that latch and may as well see if a couple others need replacing at the same time.

The factory has these (they think the same ones, brown about 1 1/2-2" long, push button on side of cabinet door to unlock it) for $3.50.  Anyone found others they really like?

I had a latch break on the pantry door.  I ordered one that looked like the same design, color, and size off Amazon.  When it arrived, it was just slightly different and didn't fit.  Grrr.

I called the factory and ordered the one that broke.  It was inexpensive and when it arrived it was a perfect replacement, right down to the screw holes.

You would be surprise at what parts the Mothership can provide, so before looking to the internet, give LD a call first.
They have parts for long discontinued models, it's a treat if you have a chance to browse LD's store in person.
I always come home with a bag of parts.

Since the factory has closed does anyone have a replacement, I can order from someone other than the factory.
Thanks

Hi Thehut: Lazy Daze didn't make cabinet latches.  You too can buy those latches from distributors. Hundreds or thousands of stores, especially on line, can supply those same parts.  Here is one likely suspect: RV Designer H227 Positive RV Cabinet Catch - Brown     RonB
