Banana Bungee August 11, 2022, 07:37:49 pm I like having a banana with my breakfast, but I really couldn’t find a good place to put them on the counter where they wouldn’t get banged around and bruised when traveling. So… I went looking on Amazon and found this Banana Bungee hanger. It really is a novel way to hang a bunch of bananas. Re: Banana Bungee Reply #2 – August 13, 2022, 08:44:32 am Among several things we grow at our ranch is Florida Lady Finger bananas on trees next to a spring just below our house. They like lots of water.(see photos) Someone told us after picking the ripening fruit to wrap the stem end of a hand of bananas with plastic wrap which will slow the over ripening process. We used Press & Seal wrap which works quite well. So if I have a banana a day and have a hand of 6 bananas they will still be nice at day six. We also peel and cut up a lot of bananas to freeze to be used in frozen fruit smoothies. 4 Likes
