Converting the A/C from R-12 to R 134A July 05, 2021, 11:59:43 pm Is it possible to convert the coach a/c using the R-12 refrigerant into the new R 134-A system?

It cost me $1,100 back then; probably would cost more now.

Then the old valve must be replaced with a size that will accept the new refrigerant because it’s a different size. Some shops will still fill it with R-12 but it is very expensive. You’re better off changing over.
