I had mine replaced after it started acting up on my 2000 Mid-Bath.  It wouldn't start as I was boarding a ferry to Newfoundland for what was to be a round trip through Labrador 😱.  Fortunately it finally did and I was 2nd to last vehicle to board ;-) 

Folks here suggested I get it replaced pronto, but I did not find a receptive mechanic in Newfoundland, and so I decided to chance it until I got home.  Thankfully, we made it without further incident.  Ended up being replaced at 104,149 miles in NH.
