Plastic Storage Bins September 04, 2021, 02:59:51 am I am look for suggestions for brand and sizes of plastic storage bins that LD owners have found to fit the best in the outside storage compartments, large and small. If you have inside storage solutions, I'm open to suggestions as well. We have a 2021 midbath. Thanks so much!
Re: Plastic Storage Bins Reply #1 – September 04, 2021, 08:35:17 am I have a few "bus tubs" from the Webstaurant store; there are different sizes and colors, they're very tough, and inexpensive, too. The tubs with flat bottoms (rather than "ridged") are a good choice. You might want to check some of the other product categories on the site for additional storage ideas and also any "kitchen" needs.Bus Tubs: Bus Boxes & Bus Pans for Restaurants 1 Likes
Re: Plastic Storage Bins Reply #2 – September 04, 2021, 01:00:02 pm I suggest making a list of all your LD's compartment's measurements and then visiting your local home stores, such as Target, and buy individual boxes for a test fit. Taking your LD with you helps quickly determine what fits and to easily return what doesn't.It may take visits to multiple stores before finding all you need. During pre-pandemic, there were box stores that made the project simpler. They may still be around. Our LD has spots where we couldn't find plastic bins that fit, so either heavy cardboard boxes were cut to size or custom boxes were made from 1/8" luan plywood, glued together with epoxy. In 26 years of LD ownership, we have used dozens of different size boxes. Cardboard boxes can easily be constructed to fill odd sized placesLarry

Re: Plastic Storage Bins Reply #5 – September 05, 2021, 09:17:13 am FYI, I see Costco has quite few storage bins on sale right now. Maybe you're near a store.
