"I have 1,600 watts of solar on my roof and I NEVER break even when running the AC unit." With a pair of 100 Ah LiFePO4 batteries (such as Battle Born's), a single air conditioner "will drain the pair in about 80 minutes." With a used Tesla battery module, "about three hours." Anytime somebody asks whether they can run their air conditioner on batteries, that page is a good place to send them. 5 Likes
