Flex Seal June 24, 2021, 08:26:08 pm Has anyone used flex seal on their LD roof? My son-in-law said an insurance adjuster told him to use it on his roof of his travel trailer.

Re: Flex Seal Reply #2 – July 05, 2021, 11:54:20 pm Help, I am negotiating the purchase of a '93 Lazy Daze in which the previous owner used Flex Seal around the edges of the roof in order to "seal" the seams. Is there a way to remove it or will it harm the coach in any way to keep it, other than making it look unattractive?I'm picking it up tomorrow and did get a very good deal overall. Any advise would be appreciated. Thank you.
Re: Flex Seal Reply #3 – July 06, 2021, 03:27:51 am Those who want to "black out" their vehicles use flex seal because it is easily peeled away from the emblems without causing damage. I would imagine you would find the same for the seams on the roof, although it may stick a bit more to old caulk. An oscillating tool will be your friend in that case.Linda
Re: Flex Seal Reply #5 – July 06, 2021, 06:48:01 pm My son had the stuff on the roof of his pickup camper. Didn't look to me like it sealed anything. With some effort he cleaned it all off and sealed with Eternabond and some Dicor.Jon
