Hellooooo dear Friends, a ghost from the past...

Dear LD Friends, I promised Joan (way back in 2019) that I would say hi and give an update- I'm so happy to see so many long-term friends on here!  We are all doing well: I gave Ciao Baby in May 2019 to my mechanic.  She was at the stage as a 1992 Mid-Bath that she needed lots of TLC and they were the ones with the skills to do it.  Our family has had lots of moves and changes:  Right now, husband Ned is in Austin enjoying his work, Jazy just became a Pediatrician and will be starting residency at Dell Children's Hospital in Austin, Charles is working in Finance in Austin, Lia has one more year of UGA college but is up in NYC for the summer with a JP Morgan internship (in finance), and I live on Terceira in the Azores, a small group of Portuguese islands in the Atlantic Ocean!  Ned and I run back and forth (he was able to work from here for 3 months in 2020 summer).  We're renovating a house here now.  It's a great life!  We are hoping to get two RVs again in a few years, both in the US and Portugal (mainland) as we really miss it, but that's where we are right now.  We all think back with great affection to you all, for deeply and positively impacting our lives on our travels with you, your encouragement and help in all our adventures.  Hugs to you all and hope to catch up with you down the road!  Beijinhos e abraços!  Teresa Hill

Well hi there Tessa!  We remember meeting you and Ned at the 2007 Albuquerque Balloon Festival and then following all of your adventures in your LD with your kids.  After 13+ years and 140K miles in our LD we decided to go fulltime and upgraded to a Tiffin DP.
We wondered what happened with you, so thanks for the update!

Wonderful news. I am not at all surprised at the success of your children. You did a fine job Mom. I thought of you last week when I read an article on Guatemala. Our best to all of you.
