LD sighting in southern Black Hills
Was passing though the Black Hills this morning and found this beauty, always a bit unexpected to run into one so far away from the west coast.   My wife was just mentioning earlier that day that you don’t see many LDs around.

That 'nice' car is a Model 'A' Ford Roadster. I learned to drive in a 1931 vintage. Lift the rear hatch and you will find a 'Rumble' seat for two more passengers. Now those were the Good Old Days!

And, there's no reason that could not be towed.  ;)

LDers Ron Mary Tribbet at least once flat towed a Model A to the Morro Bay LD gathering.

LDers Ron Mary Tribbet at least once flat towed a Model A to the Morro Bay LD gathering.

And they came to our campsite one afternoon and toss the keys to my wife and me.
We spent the afternoon tooling around Morro Bay, glad for both the experience and that we drive can modern cars every day.
We sure got the looks when heading down the hill, past the golf course's clubhouse, with the brakes squealing loudly.

Ron and Mary Tribbet have taken their Model As all around the county, with a Model A travel club. Mary is the head mechanic, learning from her father, a collector of old cars.
