Looking for replacement single pane glass alternative to NagcoGlass
Our driver side lounge fixed single pane window has developed a crack in it and is growing, now is a foot long.  I called the mothership, they suggested NagcoGlass in Pamona.  I called them and they said that their supplier does not have access to the necessary materials at this time if ever?  The wait sofar has been over a month.  Has anyone used someone else with this right thickness 3/8s and the right tint for that window approximately 32"X 24" ?  The real issue is not the installer but the supplier?

Has no-one replaced any of the single pane glass in their older LDs?

If you haven't done so already, you might check with local-to-you auto glass companies; they may be able to find glass of a compatible thickness and tint and do the repair.

I'm surprised that the thickness of the single pane glass is 3/8"?

Hi Karen & Liam;  I had my handy micometer and thought I'd measure the thickness of my '99 bathroom window.  The dual thickness pane is not a thermal double pane assembly.  I came up with .126".  Just over an 1/8 th of an inch. That actually is pretty thick for an RV window.  If you are searching for 3/8" thick glass, that would explain why no one stocks them.    RonB.

Thanks RonB, I actually looked up the specs from an earlier post here on LDO which claimed the thickness to be 3/8, I have not measured it.  Now I have your measurement for thickness .126".  Joan I will check with glass companies around here since NagcoGlass was unable to help me at this time.  With the thickness number from RonB which would be more standard then the 3/8 I thought it to be, I  should be able to get it done sooner.
