Re: Hot Air Balloons Reply #1 – November 22, 2021, 08:48:12 pm Interesting reference article.Section on Vents describes a very modern hot air balloon, where the top vent could be opened and closed. My father’s hot air balloon was made by Raven in the mid 70s.The top vent could not be closed, used Velcro, you only opened the vent when landing since it had to be reassembled. The side vent was used for bleeding hot air during flight. Yeah, I didn’t have a typical childhood.
