Spare tire on new LD April 10, 2021, 06:22:54 pm I've noticed the spare on the 27 mid-bath is stored in the side compartment rather than the back compartment as they used to be. I was wondering if there is room underneath the rig to fabricate a spare mount and free up that storage space?

The underneath got moved around a bit after 2001, so I don't know what the prospects are. Meanwhile look around for other brands and see if any built on the E450 new chassis (or old) store the spare underneath.
