Annual preparation for travel
Each May we work on the Lazy Daze to get it ready for the next year's travels.  Since we are at 10 years and 50K miles,  there were several items that we don't normally do.  I'm not done yet, but here is what has been worked on so far:
LP alarm replaced
10 year old Lifeline AGM batteries for the house replaced
Lacrosse inside/outside temp gauge batteries replaced
Transmission fluid changed
Differential fluid replaced
Engine oil and filter changed
Brake fluid flushed
Brake pads checked (1/8" wear front pads, almost none in the rears)
Coolant drained and replaced
5 year old chassis battery replaced
Front Bilstein shock nuts checked/tightened
Radiator hoses checked
New serpentine belt
Exterior waxed.

I still need to have the alignment checked and ball joints checked/lubed
Drain/disinfect and fill water tank
Flush water heater tank
Tires are all inside 6 years with good tread

What have I overlooked?

By the way, while I work on mechanical tasks, my bride Cyndy does all of the waxing.  I agree; I did marry well!

Harold,

Looks like a good plan. Our ‘15 is getting near the 10 year mark and while there are no obvious issues with the roof seal, it is something to be considered soon.

With our solar panels taking up almost all our roof, and not having an easy way to seal the roof on my own, I am thinking of reaching out to Vince at his new place of employment.

Good on Cyndy for her commitment to the ol’ Wax on Wax Off. Bright and Shiny is always nice.

<smile> Check and clean the kitchen area IE stove (above, inside, and below), microwave, and all water connections with free flow (calcium deposits).   Hard water is the curse of living in an area with wells or river drinking water.
Check and clean the bathroom.   Make sure all hoses and connections are free and in good working condition.

IM(not so)HM nothing ruins a good vacation like a broken kitchen or bathroom appliance.

Nice, Harold!  Is Cyndy for hire? 😉 The cabover is always the most difficult part to clean on class C’s. I always wish I had a class A when washing and waxing time comes around.
