What are the odds?
We just returned from three days in Anza Boreggo State Park campground.  Because reservations are at a premium and there is lots of demand at this time of year, we took whatever was available.

When we pulled into our site, we found two other Lazy Daze directly across from us.  One, a 1990, is owned by a couple who live half the year in Maine and the other half in lake Arrowhead and drive back and forth in the Lazy Daze.  They organize and run bicycle trips with Vermont Bicycle Tours.  They own beautiful road bikes, titanium and carbon fiber, and took some challenging rides up the grade.  The other Lazy Daze is a 2006 and owned by a woman named Dewey,  who has wanted to be part of this forum, but believed that it is only for original owners.  I encouraged her to join us all here.

Dewey was there with a big group of friends who included the campground hosts.  The hosts have owned two Lazy Daze that they bought new, a 2008 and a 2014.  They now own a Arctic Fox fiver. They were all nice and interesting people.

We had a great time and met nice people, and as usual, a couple dropped by and asked to see the inside of our Lazy Daze.

I've never camped at Anza-Borrego but it's on the list!  What campground is that?

Anza Borrego has several campgrounds and allows boondocking in many areas. The winter weekends can get very crowded, being so close to millions of people. Many visit on day trips, something we have done several times from my brother's place.
Weekday visits are better.

If you are going to run into other LDers, anywhere in Southern California is prime hunting grounds.
