Keeping cats out of underside of closet in RB
So I'm starting my renovations.  This one was forced on me by my two sly roommates.  There is a gaping hole that accommodates a couple of plumbing pipes next to the toilet in an RB.  The hole leads to the underside of the closet where, besides the pipes, are found the water pump, the 30 amp power inlet, and the EMS.  Of course my cats thought this was a perfect place to escape into.  I disagreed.

I tried to fence it off with a piece of foam core board from the outside, but they clawed that out in no time.  My new invention is a piece of expanded aluminum I found for cheap in the outdoor dept. at Walmart.  I made a cardboard template of what I needed, and then fashioned it out of the aluminum.  It was installed from the inside with the drawers removed.  As that location is 26" back and LD uses some pretty hard wood for the framing, it was a tedious task.

Let's see them get through that now.

So let's see... you traded peace and tranquility for two psychotic cats? Am I understanding that correctly? You know it's not over till it's over, cats winn!

Linda, your photos got me wondering where my power plug comes into the coach so I did a little exploring and found it in the bathroom behind this cover. I was happy to see that LD actually left a service loop in case the plug needs to be changed out!

Codefour - we enjoyed seeing your “special passenger”!  He might have a little difficulty squeezing into any tight spaces!  Great photo.
