Tire pressures for rear duallies. February 05, 2021, 10:52:33 pm Please settle a question: My understanding is that the dual tires should be equal in pressure, however someone on the Lazy Daze fb page states the inside tire should be 3 lbs less due to highway curvature. Which is correct?

Make sure to check both tires in a dual fitment;pressures should be the same. The maximum allowabledifference between tires across an axle is 5 psi----I suppose you could make a tortured case that 3psi less is acceptable, but I would aim for the the same. The road curvature thing makes no sense, as it depends on which road you're on, and even differs between lanes on the same road. The inside tire can heat up more, which can result in a higher running pressure. That's also addressed in the Michelin booklet.Rich 2 Likes

RichYeah, on 4 or more lane roads and many other roads you may not see the curvature, I would think. 1 Likes
