Storing Stuff December 17, 2020, 09:43:37 am Looking ahead to when we start outfitting the LD with our “stuff,” how do you keep stuff from sliding around? In the past, we’ve used that rubbery matting with the holes in it for interior cabinets. What about the lower and upper exterior bins? Do you do anything for them?

First, congrats on your new-to-you LD! To address your question, our upper exterior bins are packed pretty tight so there is no "sliding around" in them. Our one lower bin is where all the heavy stuff (tools, air compressor, etc.) is stored, most in covered totes and don't move much, if any, while traveling. Our older Twin King has one less outside storage bin than the current layout, wish we had that additional one. I would bet over time you'll fill up those bins and your issue will be resolved. We use plastic bins to hold small items that could slide around and get lost. For instance, I have one narrow plastic bin outside to hold anything to do with hooking up, circuit testers, water hose nozzel, water cheater, gloves for dumping, etc. Another one holds Windex, car wash soap, wax, etc,Inside we use bins in all the bins. Several to hold can goods in the overhead. Not many cans/bottles in each so they are easy to take down. All clothes go in bins or drawers, nothing hangs. Many bins in the rear for small tools, office supplies, manuals, etc. 2 Likes
