IS there a Price guide for used LD?
My daughter and her husband are retiring from the military next year and finally back in the States. They would like to buy a motorhome. Of course they know mine and would like a Lazy Daze. If they can can find one, is there any sort of rule of thumb as a guide to price? I know there used to be one on this forum years ago.

The price guide is just an estimation. Today, with the increased interest in LDs, limited LD production and the overall shortage of RVs, prices can be much higher, don't be surprised if you find the guide underestimates the prices of used rigs.

I am really surprised at the price of the older ones especially (1980s). My rv man says 2020 has been the year of the rv though. That makes sense too since going to a hotel can actually cost people their lives these days, especially seniors. Also there is a trend to decorate and paint vintage RVs. Additionally I am thinking that possibly there are less and less good running and well maintained 1980s on the road still, or people willing to poor money into an older one to make it nice? Question is, will the price still be high in a year or so?

I speculate that in several years there will start to be a glut in the used RV market. Pandemic buyers will discover paying for and maintaining an RV along with sparring for campground sites weren't in the RVing lifestyle plan. And then there's dumping the black tank.
