Fan vent cover not flush September 03, 2020, 03:24:38 pm Hello everyone! We just replaced this cover (On older bath fan) because it was wonky and flapped in the wind while driving, but the new one also won’t fit flush. See pics (bottom left corner). We did reuse the old bar that you screw onto the cover. Could that be the issue? Trying to leave tomorrow, so just wondering if you all have any other suggestions as to why it’s not sitting flush.

From the appearance of the caulking, someone may have done some work on it in the past. I think that is where you need to be looking.Ken F in WY
