Check light refrigerator
The check light stays on the Dometic refrigerator, but the refrigerator and freezer is still cooling. Tried shutting the refrig off and back on.  Thought the rig might be unlevel, but leveling did not shut the light off.

Are you on AC or propane?
If on propane, can you hear the pilot flame when you put your head close to the entire panel behind the fridge?

We were without hookups last week and using propane not electric. I took the panel off the back of the refrigerator, blew air into the area where the gas comes on and I could hear the gas come on. The refrigerator stays cold, but the check light stays on.  It may not be a problem, but I don't want to have the frige shut down when I don't have electric available.

I would double check all your fridge wiring connections - clean them (pink eraser and electrical connector cleaner) and make sure you have a tight connection.
I have been surprised by how often something not working right it was because of a electrical connection problem.

Checklight coming on should turn the refrigerator off. Since it does not one of two control boards is not working properly. I think there is one behind the control panel and one in the back. If it is working I wouldn’t deal with it till it was convenient.

Thanks.  I'll wait till the refrigerator dies.  Or I can find someone to look at it.

If the refrigerator is running with a continuous "Check" light, suspect the control board.
Better RV shops should have a control board tester.
If replacing the board, bypass buying another Dometic board and consider a Dinosaur Board, they are more robust and better built.

I think since you can easy enough tell if the fridge is running on gas by the periodic sound you could leave it be.   Especially if you run mainly on propane at lower altitudes.   If it comes on for no reason when running on AC that could be more of a problem because if it stops working you won’t think much of the check light being on, and it make no sound when cycling the heat.  I don’t think I have ever seen the check light on running on AC.  Mostly running on propane at higher altitudes, nice to know it is time to power cycle again... by seeing the check light.
