LD Ordering Process June 23, 2020, 11:01:38 am What is the process when ordering from the factory? I know the first step is getting on the list (which I am) but what happens after that?

Then wait another 6 to 8 months for the keys when you pay in full.Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

I'm pretty sure that the step-by-step ordering process would be pretty consistent, but any information about the actual timelines for delivery would be subject to changes; chassis availability, model choice, any design modifications that require production or workforce changes, or any number of other issues at any point in the process could affect delivery times. 1 Likes
Re: LD Ordering Process Reply #3 – June 23, 2020, 01:21:53 pm Our experience is part of ‘Way Back Machine’ history. We filled out the paperwork with our design and floor plan choices with a check for $4,000. A few months prior to delivery we got notice the Ford Chassis had arrived at LD.A month or so prior to completion the manual arrived. That was exciting.About two weeks prior to completion, we were notified of the upcoming completion date. 14 months from our order date (September 4, 2014) we rolled into the Mothership to pick up our new arrival. Plenty of time to make friends here and read the manual. It was almost Christmas and it was the best gift I ever received. Breath deep. It’ll all be over soon. 🤪Kent 3 Likes
