Drawers
Can anyone tell me how to remove the drawers especially the kitchen drawers? My ultimate goal is to be able to pull the kitchen drawers out further than the way they are now....half way pulled out from the closed position before they stop! Thanks in advance

Stan, on my '08, a firm, fairly fast pull straight out is how you remove the drawers.  If you want them to come out further than they do now for use, not for removal, and if your hardware is the same as mine, your only option is to replace the hardware.  These days, home improvement and good hardware stores have a large selection of drawer hardware.  Before you buy, I recommend removing the drawer in question and taking some careful measurements of the space and the drawer depths and widths, and verifying the side clearance.

Hi Stan;  You need to add your floorplan to your 'signature' line so we'll know what floorplan you have.   When I first got my '99 TK, I wanted to be able to pull the 3 drawers out all the way.  I replaced the hardware from LD with full extension drawer slides. It involved making a wood frame to hold the slides at the back in position. I also had to cut slots in the face frame for the slides to come out. The wide drawer fronts cover the slots when closed.  The slides didn't retain the drawers well in motion, so I put regular cabinet magnets in the back. They are invisible, but work really well. I still have a tendency to try and lift up on the drawers to unlock them.  A motion you get used to when operating the LD standard slides.  The magnets require a very firm pull to release them. I almost put a layer of scotch tape over the steel strike to reduce the effort needed.
I haven't converted the drawers opposite the kitchen on the passenger side yet, but close. The one under the refrigerator is too heavy and bouncing on the road fatigues the bent mounting bracket at the rear. When it breaks I use one of the ones I took out of the kitchen drawers. I've used up the last spare, so soon I'll need to decide whether to go with full extension slides on that drawer. Limited access, and wiring in the way behind that drawer have slowed that upgrade so far.
Sorry, I haven't taken any pictures. I'll put that on my list.   RonB

Stan, as Ken mentioned... the way to remove a drawer is to pull with authority. In fact mine typically need about three pulls. Each time they will come out further until completely out. First time I did this I thought it was pretty strange but it works.

RV drawer slides are much tighter than residential drawer slides, to help keep them from sliding on their own and they have locks.
Interestingly, two drawer slides went bad in our LD and I could not find the correct replacements online, instead, I had to order them from the Mothership. Their prices were fair, BTW.
I had hoped to find slides that would extend out farther and still had locks but they do not seem to exist anyplace searched.
For longer slides, the slide must be mount to the sides of the drawer, a solution Ron used. That space in our cabinets was already filled, so it was not a possibility.

I replaced the slides on our large drawers and fashioned my own retention stops. Still working great years later, and they extend much further and are much sturdier than oem:
Troublesome drawer slides....

I just got the manual for my soon to be constructed RB, and I read this exact same direction in it.  Three pulls to remove the drawer.  I thought that was strange too, but that is the "official" way to remove a drawer.
