Re: Movies with RV's Reply #5 – August 18, 2019, 01:31:37 pm "The Electric Horseman." Former rodeo star Robert Redford kidnaps/liberates a famous racehorse and takes it on the lam in an old class C, but can't shake reporter Jane Fonda. 3 Likes

Re: Movies with RV's Reply #7 – August 18, 2019, 04:10:45 pm Well okay then since we are on the RV movie thing, I found one YouTube “home movie” of “RV” that may be of interest to some of our LDOG friends. https://youtu.be/MsN-l5AYWu4Sorry Tiger. I know it’s not up to your usual standards but I thought it might take you back if only just a little. 😏Kent 2 Likes
Re: Movies with RV's Reply #8 – August 19, 2019, 05:41:38 am Newer movie "We're the Millers", a group of 4 people who pretend to be a family take an RV south to Mexico to load up on drugs and bring them back to the US. They have some RV mechanical issues and are helped out by another RVer family. The father of the helper family turns out to be a DEA agent. Note: frequent bad language and some raunchy scenes.Bob 3 Likes

Spectacular view of the Owens Valley. I don't recal many guard rails along that road.Art
Re: Movies with RV's Reply #21 – March 29, 2020, 05:59:46 pm Since most of us are staying at home and probably have a little extra time on our hands, thought this would be a good time to revisit some of our favorite RV movies. Not RV related, but kind of appropriate these days, this is what we are watching tonight. Maybe there will be an RV in one of the scenes?https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y5povsMKfT4
Re: Movies with RV's Reply #22 – March 29, 2020, 08:36:22 pm I just drove by the VLA in New Mexico. Stopped for the night right next to the radio scopes and watched them move around searching for our alien overlords signal from the mother planet. Reminded me of the movie Contact, with Jodie Foster, which featured the VLA. 1 Likes
