I beg to differ. I'm finding drivers in Texas to be worse than California drivers... and most of them are doing their crazy driving in trucks!

Deb, the findings don’t reflect which states have the best or worst *drivers*, but rather the states that were judged best to worst to drive in, according to several criteria used for assessment.

Giving triple weight to fuel costs and double weight to repair costs tends to 'anchor' California's score.
Does more costly translate to worse driving?  Does it equate to bad roads, bad drivers, and poor enforcement of laws pertaining to speed, reckless driving, and the use of such 'sissy' things as seatbelts and turn signals? ;)
