For what it's worth, here are a few photos of the original insulation in my 2003 midbath's fridge compartment. (Note that a couple of the upper pieces were so poorly glued that they fell out when the fridge was removed.) When I installed a Vitrifrigo DP-150 compressor fridge, I replaced this foam insulation with three to five inches of pink extruded foam insulation.

Yep, mine was very similar when I went out to look after the fridge was out. Only difference was the front (near), second panel up on the RH side was lying on the floor of the compartment. They put it back up using some foil tape to keep it in place, which was fine with me for the time being.  The others were still in place, but...  The service manager knew I wanted to see the compartment with the unit out so I could upgrade the insulation in the future. Had he suggested they could upgrade the insulation during the repair, I probably would have had them do it. If things change for me and I can spend more time in my coach in the future, I will pull the fridge out and insulate around it as well as I can.
