Hello from Oregon!
Hi All!

My wife and I just purchased our new to us 20003 TK. It’s in very nice shape and appears very well taken care of. We love it!
We live in Oregon and love to explore the great Northwest. Like many we started out tent camping. That was fine for a while but we eventually ended up with a VW Westfalia. We had that for about 10 years and it served us very well. Got lots of great memories of that rig. It had its quirks but such great versatility. From the VW camper we went to a 28’ Alpenlite 5th wheel  towed by a Ford F250. What a big difference that was compared to the VW camper. So much room and storage but of course not as nimble and agile.  After about 10 years with the Alpenlite we decided to go a different path with a Coachmen Class B. By this time in our lives we mostly were doing short weekend road trips so it worked out well downsizing.

That brings us to the present and we decided we wanted a little more room to stretch for longer trips. I had always admired the Lazy Daze brand. It was pretty obvious just seeing them on the road that they were a cut above the standard Class C fare. I was used to a quality product having owned the Alpenlite so when we decided on a Class C the decision to go LD was a very easy and obvious one.

Here’s a couple pictures. We really like the layout having the great views from the two couches that make into the king bed. The separate bedroom of the 5th wheel was pretty sweet but the huge TK bed of the LD made for an easy compromise.

Nice to emeet you 73Gitane - and I love your name, Gitane made some fine bicycles back in the early 1970's ;-)

That's a beautiful Lazy Daze you have. We, too, started motorized camping in Westfalias (bike camping before that). The Westys were awesome but the Lazy Daze - well that's traveling and camping in style.

Enjoy your new home and we'll look for you when we're in your neck of the woods - we've been up to the Astoria area several times and love it, and the drive back down the coast,

Thanks all.

Jim, we have a bit in common. 73Gitane combines my interest in Ham radio and cycling. Back in the 70's I worked at a bike shop in Eugene Oregon and did some racing. One of my bikes was a Gitane. I don't come across to many people that know that brand. Still cycling!
