Re: Lazy daze ruined me for RV buying Reply #25 – July 30, 2019, 09:40:54 pm Been doing lots of research on escape vs Casita and most say six one way half dozen the other. It also has the off road lifted axle and larger wheels I want and solar panels and an increased fresh water capacity. Just what I'm looking for! Ideally I'd like to look at both myself but the price on this Castia is very good and I don't want to let it get away. I was the first caller and he's going to hold it for me to look at. Same thing happened to me when I bought my LD and when I was doing the paper work the guy showed me the list of the other seven people that wanted it if I didn't. At least I don't have to fly to San Diego this time. Sometimes he who hesitates loses and I don't want to lose this so if it's as advertised I'll be joining the casita owners forum tomorrow and you guys will finally be shed of me. lol

Re: Lazy daze ruined me for RV buying Reply #27 – July 31, 2019, 12:00:55 am Sawyer, I know that previous LD owners are welcome to stay with the group. Some systems are the same (a fridge is a fridge, solar is solar, a water pump is a water pump), and the other groups I have checked out don't give as much info when one of those systems goes bonkers (or the poster just needs some info about them).Jane 2 Likes

Very desirable RV that lots of people are always watching for and easier to sell a good used one than to find a good used one that's for sure.

Re: Lazy daze ruined me for RV buying Reply #30 – July 31, 2019, 02:37:32 pm I have no dog in this hunt. However, over the years we have talked with owners of different brands. One that seems highly regarded is the Oliver. Here is a forum that covers all brands. The Fiberglass RV CommunityJim
Re: Lazy daze ruined me for RV buying Reply #31 – July 31, 2019, 02:52:11 pm Hi Jim, Yeah the Oliver’s are real nice, more of an all-season trailer. The main issues I had with them was price ($50K USD) and weight. You’ll need a heavier duty tow vehicle to pull them. Also, I wasn’t overly impressed with their floorplans:Oliver | Luxury Fiberglass Travel Trailers, Campers & RVs
