Stubborn windshield wiper July 25, 2019, 03:35:55 pm I’m trying to replace this wiper and the parts I think have fallen off or been damaged. Any suggestion on how to remove? I’ve tried every guy it seems.

Re: Stubborn windshield wiper Reply #2 – July 25, 2019, 04:44:31 pm My recollection from our '83 is you pull straight up off the pin. However, that is a Chevy part, so I would find a replacement first - maybe from a salvage yard.Steve
Re: Stubborn windshield wiper Reply #3 – July 25, 2019, 06:28:09 pm It actually looks to me like somebody had problems keeping the wiper on and bent it so it would stay in place. Try straightening it out and then pull it straight up and off the stud. Some times there is a little lever to pull up on to free things up.Jon
Re: Stubborn windshield wiper Reply #4 – July 25, 2019, 10:28:04 pm This looks like the spot right next to the cab/hood/windshield.Our 89 TK looks nothing like this, we have smooth covers over everything.Doing some searches on the internet this is what I found. Amazing the good information you can find on the internet these days.Did a check, this video looks like a good one and he said they got the arm for a very good price (was a couple years ago).Link for parts - give this a minute to link as it sorts thru to the page on wipers: Rock Auto 89 G30 wiper partsVideo: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TOMvXqwcxRoJane As an Amazon Associate Lazy Daze Owners' Group earns from qualifying purchases.
