Many attempts were made to hide the simple truth. Some things are just better from the start.

Who ever came up with the name “Half Dome Village” anyway? Long live Curry Village.

Their claim to name ownership was as bogus as that of 'Columbus discovered America'. 
I was a little suprised they didn't claim ownership of this: 
As far as I'm concerned Deleware North was no more than a patent troll trying to monetize the intellectual property of others.  I refused to use the abominable names they slapped on history. 

 It got me thinking about a couple of wool blankets I have that are stamped  YP&CCo which led me down a few rabbit holes.  Here are a couple:

As part of our 40th Anniversary celebration we booked a week at the "Majestic" for next February....immediately upon getting the news ping on my phone I went to our reservation page...they had already changed the name to it's rightful place!!!
