Sweet looking job, I'm envious!

One tiny suggestion, how about a dab of sealant, internal and external, where the cable exits the tire cover. And possibly at the rear of the Cyclopes unit. I think I can see the printed circuit board behind that opening.  :(

I don't remember if I thought about that during the installation... although these days I can't remember what I had for lunch!

I may have chosen not to put sealant at the rear of the bracket because the circuit board is "encapsulated" on the rear of the LED strip, and thus is protected from the elements. The tire cover is protected with a rubber grommet. Instead of split loom through the grommet, I used a piece of tubing. Little water should get in there (or so I hoped).

Your light is a Kaper II L14-0087R Red LED Marker/Clearance Light. they are available on Amazon. The amber has an "A" rather than a the letter "R" at the end of the ID.

Update!  The electrical is all connected and I love how bright the LEDs are.  I am still cleaning off the old sealants under the former lights, but Goof Off and a chisel are working great.  The way the old lights connected were that the electrical wires came out of the RV and into the light to connect.  These LEDs require connecting all wires outside the light and get shoved back inside the RV.  The hole is kind of small for the 2 separate wires with the caps to go in, but it will be possible.  I am thinking it might be hard to get them back out if needed.  Would like to know your thoughts about drilling the hole a little larger or securing the wires and caps somehow in case I notice the lights are out (heaven forbid!) and have to fix it.  Thanks much.

I would just absolutely be certain that any holes are well sealed. I seem to remember a posting recently were the “attic” sustained water damage from water getting past one of the marker lights.

It's taken me awhile, but I finished the work a few months back .  I do feel that as someone stated in the companion site, "only do if necessary" or something like that. After the initial removal of the old light and removal of all the old sealant, the problems I encountered were that the new light fixtures appeared to have holes that aligned with the old screws, but they were not exact.  We needed to drill out exact fits.  Unfortunately I didn't realize until I had gooped on all the sealant and got ready to drill down the screws.  The other thing that happened was that apparently some of the screws were stripped and required a larger size to grab.
I also didn't put enough sealant to smoosh out all the way around.  I remedied it by a utube video that focused on the way to make  sealant look great.  I think it was the same as the companion site but my head wasn't ready yet at that point.  Anyway I sealed the heck out of the edges and with a prayer, hope no leaks will ever happen.  Now hope to head to an area with rain but will be nervous until I know I did ok.

I could never justify the amount of work needed to make the LED conversion, especially considering it has always been possible to make the incandescent bulbs work with a little work. We rarely drive at night anymore since both of us are now retired so it would be of no benefit.
