How to get the dinette table off the wall?
I might go onto a short trip with some friends soon and then I would have to sleep on the dinette-bed (I'm only 5' 8" and would probably survive two nights there).

How do I get the dinette table off the wall? The manual does not explain this, and I do not want to do something that could damage something.

Attached two pictures that show the construction under the table. Do I have to unscrew the lower brackets so that I can remove the white plastic thingies?

Hi Klaus;  No unscrewing anything. Just lift up on the table end closest to the aisle. Enough to unhook the two brackets on the wall. This allows the table to drop down and rest on the wood rails mounted on the seat portion. (next to the cushion)   Those white plastic pieces are to prevent the bar coming out of the clips and having the table tilt down at the end, and damage the hooks on the table edge, and wall. That metal bar assembly will push the table towards the aisle a bit.  RonB

Apparently you just wanted to lower the table into the bed position.

But if you DID want to get the dinette table off the wall, it would be easiest to just loosen the screws holding the white plastic thingies and turn the plastic stop out of the way enough to lift the metal rod out of the bracket ... for future reference.
