De-humidifier recommendations? April 07, 2019, 12:21:25 pm I was out in the RV today cleaning it up a bit. Noticed it was 80% humidity inside and thought, hey this would be a great time to run the generator for it's monthly run cycle and use the A/C to knock down the humidity. Bummer, it's too cool out, the A/C won't come on.As we've got a trip coming up where the weather is probably going to be just as cool, and it's expected to rain quite a bit, this got me thinking about a de-humidifier. Does anyone have any recommendations of some good ones they are happy with?ThanksSean
Re: De-humidifier recommendations? Reply #1 – April 07, 2019, 01:02:00 pm Sean, do you have a heat strip in your air? If so, just run it for 20 min, then you should be able to run the air. Both modes exercise the generator.Steve

I really want them, but can't seem to find the correct part number to see if they are still available.
Re: De-humidifier recommendations? Reply #3 – April 07, 2019, 02:16:19 pm Hi Sean. Most of us carry small box electric heaters to use when we have full hookups. On low you could use one of these to put a load on the generator, and get the insides warm enough to run the air conditioner. Set on high the box heater is enough of a load to give the generator a workout (1800 Watts). RonB
