Water Heater froze In Texas Freeze.
New Member here...Forgot to drain my water heater during the Texas freeze. Where do you recommend to get one. Ive looked online and you can buy must the tank for around 200 but would it be better to replace the whole thing?

Depends how old it is. You will have to make the decision. Your profile does not mention the year and model you own. The tough part is done in getting the old one out. The replacement process will be trivial. I would tend to replace all of it.

That is a nasty split!

The tank is supposed to have an air bubble, about 10% of the volume. Over time, if not partially bled, the tank will fill up. This is probably why yours split.
