Thanks for the input all, I believe my     only option is to remove the sealant and start over. I believe the sides will be fine with new E bond. There are a couple bubbles at the very back of the coach that need attention. I figure that I got the windows and back trim caps calked with 5200 and really didn't make a mess I should be good to go on the roof. Like Larry says, let's do it once.

If you have access to a vibratory tool and sharp blade,
If you don't, this may be a good time to fix that 'problem' as well.

The factory will do a roof seal; I suggest calling for an estimate. Windows? I don't know, but window sealing with 5200 is not a difficult job to do, just 'preppy steppy', tedious, and a bit messy!  And, one does have to go up and down a step ladder - the 'arthritic knee stress' part of the job that's most tiring for me, but may not be relevant to you - to clean, tape off, and seal the window perimeters.

Here's a little up date on my roof project. Larry, you were spot on, I cut out the corner areas and found bubbles with dust infiltration  and a lot of them. So now the entire roof seam in the front is exposed and nearly ready for prep. The power scraper is a must have. I can't believe that I worked in the trades for 45 years and never bought one. The clear sealer the factory used on our coach is gone but I didn't scrape to the metal or the fiberglass so in spots I have a very sticky residue left over. Should I get right to the very bare metal and fiberglass in my scraping phase. Lazy Daze used some kind if white calk under the metal trim and my plan is to leave as is and overcoat the whole area with FC 5200 and then I'll use the Eternabond tape.

The sides look good to me with the exception of a couple bubbles at the rear so these areas will get some 5200 and then the Eternabond the length of the coach. Does my reasoning sound about right to those of you who have been through this?

Thanks,
Jon....
