Brakes...
1990 M22. Occasionally when I get going after a few hrs stationary, and I apply brakes, they catch so strongly, my rig stops so instantaneously like they have locked.

Have had it for just over a year and have no idea when the system was last flushed. There is no sign of any leaks except at the resevior gasket. I check the level regularly to ensure correct fluid level. Any ideas? Chevy 350.

Have some fluid bled from a caliper, and inspect. If it does not look pristine, the system will at LEAST need to be bled, but expect more work...

Now why did I not think of that? Oh yeah, I am not a mechanic.

If it’s happens occasionally, you might try to get a bit more info about what is happening and when.  It would give any mechanic some clues about where to start.

I’m thinking about things like front brakes or back, does it pull to one side or the other when stopping...that sort of thing.  How fast are you going?   Does it happen after backing up?  Original parts in the brake system, or have some things been replaced?

I’m not familiar with brakes on that vintage of Lazy Daze.  Sorry I can’t offer more help.
