Another Use for a Lazy Daze
We have moved the majority of our stuff from Tehachapi to Paso Robles but Nocona remains at the old homestead. Currently “full-timing” in her while supervising interior painting and conducting needed repairs and clean-up on the Tehachapi house before putting it on the market.  It would’ve been very difficult to accomplish all of this without having the Lazy Daze available. Just another use for our beloved LD’s!

Greg,
We have done the same while building our ranch lodge in 2003. When we bought our ranch property in 2001 the first thing we did was build the full hookup 24' X 40' RV pad. That is where we lived in our Beaver Patriot MH for a more than a year until we moved into the new house. We enjoyed every minute staying at the campsite.
Additionally, when we have several overnight guest at our two bedroom house we will park Villa Verde in front of the house and we move in there while the guest occupy both bedrooms. I have two 50-amp outlets in the garage for RVs.
Last September while visiting friends in Milwaukee we both came down with covid. We cut our trip off and quickly returned home to recover. We decided to stay in Villa Verde on our RV site to contain the virus and not spread it into our home. All well & good until category 4 hurricane Ian came our way. We then moved the LD into our shop to ride out the storm that downgraded to a cat. 1 by the time the eye went over at 4:30AM. Storm was gone by daylight and we only had some tree damage in the yard & woods. After 6 days with covid we finally tested negative covid we then moved back into the house. It was much easier sanitizing the MH than it would have been to do the entire house.
Another use is when traveling to a outpatient surgery center for a colonoscopy it is good to have the toilet handy just in case. :-)

We have "Full Timed" in our Lazy Daze twice during remodels.   One took 6 months.  Worked out fine!

Yep, I've used the rig for "certain" doctors appointments !!! (see previous posts).

The most unusual use I've done so far involves removing all the cushions (or putting them in the overhead)..  for Blue, 1990 MP, stored at the huge dog boarding kennel my daughter worked at near Malibu/Topanga to have in case of fire evacuations (was full of dog crates) for a few years.  For Ghost, 2005 RB, I've transported rescue Australian Cattle Dogs (Queensland Heelers) and my own pets.  Added eye bolts to the bottoms of the sofas to fasten crates in.
