Exercising Generator
I "got the memo" on how important it is to run the Onan 4K generator under load every month or so while my 2005 LD is stored for the winter. Two questions: 1) Is a single 1500 watt space heater an adequate load or should I go get a second one? and 2) should I run it for one hour or two? Thanks for all the wisdom of this group!

Run the generator with as much load as possible, the idea is to get the generator hot and run it long enough to boil out any moisture that has accumulated in the oil and, more importantly, in the armature and field wire windings. The winding's insulation breaks down under long term exposure to moisture. Repairing a bad armature is very expensive.
I would run two heaters, in the winter and the A/C in the summer. Unless your climate stays below freezing for long periods, an hour run should be adequate. If your LD's  A/C has a heat strip, run it, along with a space heater.
