Unable to Reach LDO Forum November 09, 2018, 03:34:59 pm I'm unable to reach the LDO Forum with either of our iPhone's while using cell service. We're able to make a connection on WIFI. We're able to reach any other website that we want, but not the Forum. This issue blows my mind. The message is "Safari cannot open the page because the network connection was lost."Does anyone have any ideas for a solution? For what's it worth, it's a widely reported problem with Safari and some versions of OS. This just started to happen in recent weeks. And thanks in advance.

Then just to be sure I went to another site, and then turned the phone off. When I turned on the phone I went to LDO with no problem. Did you try turning your phone off then back on? Other items that might make a difference. I just updated my phone with the new IOS software, 12.1

Couldn't post or even like. Seems cleared up now. I logged out and back in. That may have done it..

I don't really have an explanation for that since nothing recently changed on the server.The only items in the error log were "worker process 123xyz exited on signal 7 (core dumped)" ... which is not very useful to me nor google. Closest I could find was that it may have been trying to access a memory location that was no longer available. I restarted the web server and did not see any further errors over the next 4 hours. I then downloaded and compiled the latest version of the web server (nginx) which was released on Nov 6th to fix a potential security issue. I installed that update today (11/10/18) around 1pm central time, as such the site was not responding for about 10mins while I did that update.So, lets see if the problem returns or if it was just one of those odd things.

In the last little bit, I wouldn't be able to connect to the Forum. It appears whatever Steve did is working because I'm connecting on cell service only. What a strange problem!
