I like it! I've long looked for a window awning to cover the rear window (when in those full sun summer days), but I'd have to take it to someone experienced with installation...not sure I'd be able to drill a hole in the side of the skin  :o

However, in addition to ShadePro ShadePro Inc - RV Awnings & Accessories | Order Online!, I now have choices to make. Thanks Chris!

Now doing without...

Carefree and A&E usually have a metal slat or thicker section that covers the material when it is stowed to prevent weather exposure (sunlight) damage. Also I've heard of, and seen some that blow out while driving. Friends lost one that way. Does this have a provision to prevent that? Usually a strap that is wrapped around it when stowed. I can see why the promo video wouldn't address this issue. Just a lock on the arms wouldn't stop the blowout problem. RonB

There are fixes for storage: awningpro-tech.com | RV Awning Covers As for blowouts, you could probably rig a strap or bungee. Don't know for sure. This is a cheaper way to awning your RV, but I'd want to carefully check where the attachment screws were going to make sure you are not screwing into a wiring harness.
