Toilet leak
My wife and I are the proud owners of a new 2018- 27' Midbath. In the past two months we have traveled 7000 miles with no issues except that our toilet leaked around the base not while flushing. We use a pressure regulator and it only happened 2 times in two months. I am leaning towards the flush valve put I don't see any sign of the water source. Any thoughts ?

Tom, I see you folks are pretty new members. Welcome to the Lazy Daze Owners' Forum. I am hopeful someone will come up with some suggestions for your problem. On the home page, click on The Lazy Daze Companion and then find "toilet" in the index. Click on that and see what is offered. Also, click on Community and then Search on the home page and type in "toilet leak" and see what has been discussed in the past. You are not the only person to have had a toilet leak.

Tom, assuming that your black tank is not filled to overflowing, a leak that allows water to pass from the bowl, out to the floor, can ONLY come from the interface between the toilet and the upper seal or from between the two seals.  To find it, remove the plastic cover at the base of the toilet (try pushing left on the right side of the plastic while facing the bowl) and wrapping paper towels around the area where you see the stainless ring clamp.

A leak from the water feed system that is not from the bowl can come from the flush mechanism at the pedal, from the connection to the hand flush sprayer or from the friction connection into the back of the toilet bowl.  To find THAT leak, wrap each of those places with a paper towel.

When the paper towel gets wet, you found the source of the leak.  Then, you can figure out the cure.

Just an FYI here, we had a leak at the back of the toilet and it was the back flow preventer. It would leak as the water valve would shut off as soon as everything was equalized out the leak would go away but the water would get the carpet wet on the back side of the toilet. For those not knowing the BFP it is the plastic valve that attaches to the back of the toilet usually with the spray attachment hooked to it. Very easy to change out.

What Ken says. You will have to take the skirt off to see what's leaking. Limber up before attempting this.

You mentioned you are using a pressure regulator, so I assume you are concerned that high pressure might be the problem.
Some of us always run off the tanks.
