The Road Ahead
Last summer we bought a used LD in preparation for retirement.  I have really appreciated the helpful information on this site. Yesterday, after 17 years in my position,  I turned in my office keys!
Tomorrow DW and I begin to wander and are looking forward to meeting some of you folks down the road.

Congratulations on starting an exciting new chapter in your lives.    These next steps are a few of the benefits of a lifetime of work.  Now it's time to go slow and enjoy the world without a clock or time sheet.  We'd like to wish you best of luck in your travels and in your retirement.

Congratulations. Turning in the office keys and turning the key in the LD ignition is the perfect way to begin a new page in life.

I got that part 1/2 right. My DW is still holding onto her office keys but will be joining me at camp tomorrow. At least camp will be ready when she arrives. 😎

So I suppose Yellowstone is not on your traveling agenda. Enjoy your adventures.

Out of the driveway in the LD is a great way to start heading into retirement.
Welcome to the fold of those of us who have 'folded'.
Kent is no longer the latest  :)
Safe travels, and see you down the road.

If you travel in your LD, sooner or later you will meet some of us.  We have met LDers in the Yukon, Alaska, Monument Valley, Yellowstone, Fort Wilderness (Disney CG in Orlando), and other places.  There are LD get-togethers in several parts of the country during the year, consider going to one or more and meeting folks there.

Best wishes in your newest occupation.
