Buying a toad August 09, 2018, 12:50:58 am After much agonizing I decided to get a toad. Ive spend the day pouring over consumer reports, Remco Towing, blue ox tow bars, owners manuals, going to a few dealers, downloadable dingys, etc. I have a E350 TK, 2001 and decided a lightweight vehicle with the best ground clearance I can find which is towable 4 down. I have come up with the Nissan Versa manual transmission. Does anyone have any experience with this vehicle? I also considered the Hyundai Accent, but it is more money with less clearance, and the crosstrek, which is a lot more weight and money. I looked at a Fiat but it is very low off the ground. I want to get into regular campgrounds but will not be venturing into any really rough terrain.
