Another One Bites The Dust August 04, 2018, 09:08:39 pm I was recently informed by my RV insurance carrier, National Interstate, that they are pulling out of the RV insurance business. To me, this was very unpleasant news. My rates were reasonable and they provided Coach Net as my Roadside Assistance provider. They have placed a lot of stock in their recommended replacement, Safeco, a Liberty Mutual Insurance Company subsidiary. While we do have Liberty Mutual for our Home Owners Policy, National Interstate is using Auto Insurance Specialists (AIS) as our Broker for Safeco but I’m not so sure that AIS can get us the best rate on our RV insurance since we already have a policy with Lib Mutual. I’ll soon find out. 🤨So at this point, I’ll ask the fine folks here if they have any experience with Safeco. Do they provide Coach Net? Any concerns with their policies? Lining up a new set of ducks is always a challenge prior to making a very important decision. While change is inevitable, I prefer to be the one pulling the strings and cutting the cord.Kent
