Re: The Good Old Days Reply #5 – July 23, 2018, 03:16:11 pm That table might be nice to have but what a pain in the A$$ 😳 to get it out when you’ve pack the back end of you car with other things you need. Like the ice chest with food and chairs etc. 1 Likes

Re: The Good Old Days Reply #7 – July 24, 2018, 01:50:48 pm To this day I fondly recall a “road side” picnic of sorts. My best friends Dad took us to see “The Music Man” at the Towne Theater in Long Beach. I’ve seen the film many times since then and call easily remember many elements of the movie that I truly enjoyed. What stands out most about that day was when my buddies Dad pulled the car over along the road and went to the trunk and proceeded to set up a very special surprise. A picnic blanket and an Ice Cold Watermelon. I was so thrilled. What a wonderful day.I often drive past that same spot along the road and think fondly on that day. Special family surprises are something a kid will cherish all their lives.I now try to surprise my family as often as I can. Teach ‘em young. Make ‘em smile.Kent 5 Likes

The service advisor's comment was something on the line of "I knew the CRV had a lot of storage capacity, but...." And the picnic table wasn't one from Honda. 1 Likes
