Visited our LD today, it felt like Christmas!
We are scheduled to pick up our 27’ mid bath Monday July 16. We need to let our new concrete driveway “cure” for 2.5 weeks first. It is very close to being finished, it’s painted, and looks to be equipped with options we ordered. The floor looks amazing, I think it’s new this year. Hopefully it’s durable and easy to keep clean

We appreciate this forum so much, getting our “rookie” questions answered by all of you is a huge help. We hope we can help others down the line, once we have some LD camping experience.

I found some great toppers on closeout at Custom Comfort Mattress, should make the rig more comfortable

"I found some great toppers..."

I seen on TV just this evening that "The My-Pillow Guy" is now offering mattress toppers.   :o

Thanks Kent, and it’s in the proper “Official LB LD Charcoal/Grey” color that they all should be, so we can do parades together😎

Tiger, Not that I am biased, but you selected the right length, floor plan, and color. You are clearly a person of great intelligence  and judgement, not to mention having good taste in your choices.
You are going to LOVE your rig!

<smile> a few weeks and you'll be a full member of the 'cult'.    IMHO the LD is just a down payment for years of joy and fun on 'customizing', on road trips and camping, and fellowship with other Lders.

Hi Tiger, getting very close. Thanks for the pictures. I'm glad to see you have the back table. I've always thought that the back dinette area was the best for socializing with guests. Is it standard now, or was it an option still?    I have the 23.5 TK; I have carpeting under where the table leg hits the floor, but If I had your flooring I would get a 'crutch tip' for a bigger contact patch on the floor. I also have about 4" length of pool noodle on the post to protect bare toes. See! I'm helping you modify your new movable home already!  RonB

I ordered the table and the extension table, I wish now I would have made them out of wood, I’ll see how much I like the factory table first. Someone asked about the floor, don’t know much except we loved how it looked, and is a new choice this year.
Kristy wanted a stainless sink, it’s got one, new this year, so it’s NOT obsolete lol

Some of the options we ordered are Cherry wood finish, 12V house battery disconnect, 2nd solar panel, outside shower, hardwood dash overlay, tan cab seats, Auto in motion Direct Tv, power mirrors, backup camera, 2 extra 12 volt outlet ($85 each)3 extra AC outlets ($100 each) 3? extra seat belts ($350)
Valance coffee, Trim cafe, carpet tan, dinette cafe

Some options we guessed we might like, some for future resale, we don’t have a crystal ball, yet. We hope to enjoy it to the fullest, as we plan to go camping monthly to start. We can enjoy it for the next ten or more years and have the adventures of our lives with our kids and their friends, family and groups we hope to be a part of.

Thank you to all who have helped and encouraged us, Dean Ansley gave us lots of camping and LD knowledge first, and he and his wife showed us his LD MB, He gave me great advice, don’t buy just any LD, find one you LOVE.

Kent has been like a brother/cheerleader since we met him here. Thanks to all who helped answer our questions and concerns. 🐯👍

Clark, is the flooring material a wood product, vinyl, or some other?

Tiger,

Christmas (the one in December) was closer at hand when we picked up our rig October 27, 2015.

First trip out was Bryce Canyon and Zion. It was a fantastic way to start our “Grand Adventure.

Here are a few shots from our pick up date and first trip. Just sharing my excitement for you and your DW. Enjoy your adventures.

Vicki at the Mothership guessed its vinyl, that would be my guess too, it just looks so “reel” I’m pretty sure coffee will taste much better inside the LD ☕️🎬

She said all previous choices in the past were vinyl, that’s what LD uses.

The last 2 floor pics with the brown tweed sofa are from the floor model now at LD 👌

I like the way it looks.  So it appears they install carpet only in the cab section and not at all in the coach?

I’m jealous. I want one too.Mid bath for sure cause I’m gonna back right up to the beach in her. I’m on wait list.  Smart to get outdoor shower I say. Rinse off after riding your bike or surfing. How long was the wait total? Congratulations like what you said about how your going to use it. Very cool. Corky
Soon my wife and I retire and I order a TK.

Clark, do you know any details about the flooring - manufacturer, color name, composition, etc.? I really like it.

Hi RonB, this is Tiger's wife, Kristy. Thanks for the advice about the "crutch tip" and pool noodle protection on the post. All those little creature comforts will be my job so it's good to know. Thanks!
