Customer Service
Most of us are aware of the poor customer service that is rampant throughout today's RV manufacturers and that Lazy Daze is one of the few exceptions in the industry.  I was pleasantly surprised to find there is another company that provides excellent customer service;  but you need to go to Canada to find it . . . or do you?

I think some of the best customer service and employee training is done by Discount Tire.
I have used them for many, many years now and without fail, I get good customer service from the moment I enter the store.
I have been in more than 40 different locations thru out the west. Even when they are being slammed, I get an acknowledgement and a "be right with you" immediately.
Whoever came up with their system is to be applauded.

Ditto. I'm headed there in 45 minutes to have new front tires put on.

Just a FYI: Discount Tire is called "America's Tire" in California except, apparently, in San Diego County, where the company has the "Discount Tire" name.

Les Schwab also bends over backwards for the customer.
Discuss anything with anyone and disagree agreeably. Always be polite and respectful.

We don't have Discount Tire or Les Schwab. Wish we did.

Les Schwab gets a second thumbs up.   They also fix flats for free.   This is very clever because it makes you want to do business with them when you are ready to buy something.

I guess I was anticipating that this thread would be geared towards RV manufacturer customer service but it has evolved into tire store customer service discussion.  Then again, I didn't specify that in the subject line.  Whatever.

BTW, another vote for Discount/America's Tire!  :)

In your original post, you mention that other than LD,  customer service is rare these days.
I could only think of one company that compares, Discount Tire.

A sad state of affairs indeed.

Too bad Les Schwab stores are only in the PNW.
I like America's (Discount) Tires due to their wider distribution of stores and my experiences dealing with them.

Costco can also be a good place to buy tires, their customer service is world class.

Les Schwab is moving south through California; mostly in northern CA, but check this page for locations.  ;)

Not a big fan of Discount tires anymore.  Took my LD there for new tires and they backed it into a wall.  They failed to notify me of the incident.  I only discovered the damage after doing a walk around of the vehicle before driving off - which is a standard practice of mine.  The manager put up a small fight but eventually accepted that the damage was done on the premises.  "If you don't get caught you didn't do it."   I run into that philosophy more and more everyday.  My best tire experience is Costco.
